California newspaper publishes Urban Air op-ed on biofuels and clean air
Education and partnerships are two of the key things needed to succeed in reducing toxins in gasoline and improving public health. That’s why Urban Air Initiative was pleased to partner with Novozymes who helped UAI work to educate residents and officials in California about the need for biofuels.
UAI President Dave Vander Griend published an op-ed in the Sacramento Bee, ‘Biofuels present solution to harmful airborne chemicals‘. Vander Griend addresses the often not talked about causes of air pollution and health related issues. He focuses on the need to quickly add more biofuels to the gasoline pool.”It’s all about protecting the air we breathe from increasing levels of toxic emissions that are an unavoidable byproduct of producing, refining and burning fossil fuels.”
It’s a critical message that we will continue to spread. You can help, by sharing the op-ed on your social media and with your co-workers. It’s going to take all of us to #FixOurFuel.
