New Research Finds the EPA Not Enforcing the Clean Air Act
The Time for Change Is Now
After uncovering the problem, Urban Air Initiative worked to find a solution. Our research, along with independent studies, has determined that raising the percentage of ethanol in gasoline would boost octane and reduce aromatic levels across the entire gasoline pool. We’ve found that adding more ethanol to gasoline will replace the aromatics, reducing tailpipe emissions
and improving air quality.
It’s time for the EPA to follow the law set out in the Clean Air Act and reduce aromatics to the greatest degree possible. By advocating for the use of clean burning ethanol, a safer and readily available alternative, we can fix our fuel and improve the quality of the air we breathe.
